Minister Katz: Recent events opportunity to cut off ties with Gaza
Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz said during a meeting of Likud ministers that recent events "are an opportunity to cut off all connection with Gaza, except surveillance to prevent the entry of strategic weapons."
Katz added, "Since the disengagement, the connection between Israel and Gaza is illogical and incorrect. We are no longer there, but we are still responsible. We must find a solution to transferring all civilian goods to Gaza via Rafah and Egypt in collaboration with international bodies." (Roni Sofer)
