Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he "still has not agreed" to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's recommendation to establish an international commission of inquiry into Israel's raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla.
Netanyahu, who spoke during a meeting of Likud ministers, also addressed the blockade on Gaza. "The discussion regarding the nature of the naval blockade on Gaza started before the 'hate flotilla.' It is our desire to allow the passage of civilian and humanitarian goods to the population and prevent the smuggling of weapons and materials supporting Hamas fighting." (Roni Sofer)
