Gov. approves bill granting study benefits to soldiers

The government approved a bill proposal that grants benefits to discharged soldiers in order to encourage them to study in higher education institutions in the periphery.
According to the proposal, every discharged soldier will be entitled to one year's free academic study in a choice of institutions, while soldiers living in the Negev and the Galilee will be eligible for a range of benefits. (Roni Sofer)
