Damian Kerlik's appeal on solitary confinement conditions rejected

None

Supreme Court Judge Miriam Naor has rejected an appeal filed by Damian Kerlik who is charged with the murder of the Ushrenko family regarding a district court ruling to keep him in solitary confinement.

Judge Naor accepted the State's claim that other prisoners may harm Kerlik but ruled that the Prison Service must explore the possibility of placing Kerlik with a second inmate kept in solitary confinement who poses him no risk. (Aviad Glickman)
