Sarkozy's ratings down again in new French poll

The popularity rating of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, two years away from an election, has fallen again, according to a survey published on Sunday for left-wing newspaper Liberation.

The Liberation/ViaVoice survey said 34% of those polled had a positive opinion on Sarkozy - down 4 points from a previous poll in May and a record low for the survey. Some 64% had a negative opinion of Sarkozy while 2% had no opinion. Just over 1,000 people were polled for the survey. (Reuters)
