Assistant AG: MKs, citizens cannot be tried for visiting Libya

Assistant to the Attorney General Raz Nizri said during a Knesset House Committee said, "Libya is not on the list of countries that travel to them is a legal offense."
"As things approach the criminal realm, it is not possible to put Knesset members and citizens on trial for this. You (Knesset members) are the ones who must decide whether to place Libya on this list," said Nizri. (Amnon Meranda)
