Report: North Korea leader meets Parliament
None
The Yonhap news agency says North Korean leader Kim Jong Il has attended a rare parliamentary session and that the country has named a new premier.
Yonhap cited Pyongyang's state radio Monday as reporting that the new premier was Choe Yong Rim, replacing Kim Yong Il. The report was also confirmed by Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency, which didn't give a reason for the leadership change. (AP)
