Labor recommends negotiations with Kadima to expand coalition

Four members of the Labor faction – Amir Peretz, Eitan Cabel, Daniel Ben-Simon, and Raleb Majadela – placed a proposal before the Labor Party that it start negotiations with Kadima in order to expand the coalition.
According to the proposal, the two factions will draft an agreed-upon policy outline and new foundation lines for the government and will present them to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the proposal, should Netanyahu decline, the Labor Party will resign from the government. (Attila Somfalvi)
