Israeli ambassador: UN to vote on Iran sanctions next week

Israel's ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren, said the UN Security Council would vote on a new round of sanctions to be imposed on Iran next week, and that the sanctions would probably be in place by summer.
In an interview with MSNBC Oren rejected a proposal to station an international force at the Gaza border crossings in order to supervise goods going in, comparing it to the UN force stationed in southern Lebanon in order to prevent the importation of rockets. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
