Italy expresses reservations over EU monitoring of Gaza-bound ships

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini expressed his reservations over France's proposal that the European Union would monitor ships sailing to the Gaza Strip.
During a press conference with his German counterpart, Guido Westerwelle, Frattini noted that in the past, Hamas had prevented the activity of European supervisors in the Gaza crossings. (AFP)
