Assad: Israel's aggressive policy preventing peace

Syrian President Bashar Assad says the "aggressive policy" of Israel's "radical government" is the reason for the lack of peace in the Middle East. He spoke during a meeting with the Belarus foreign minister in Damascus.
The official Syrian news agency also reported that Assad stressed it was important to work "towards a multi-polar world system, without hegemony." (AFP)
