FM: Turkish stance on Israel can't be changed with overture
None
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said during meeting with the members of the Conference of Presidents in New York regarding opening border crossings to the Gaza Strip that maintaining quiet in Gaza is first and foremost an Egyptian interest. He also said that there is very good cooperation between Israeli and Egyptian security forces.
Lieberman also said that it would be a mistake to think that the Turkish stance on Israel can be changed via another gesture because the Turkish leadership has made a strategic change that stems from deep within Turkish society. (Roni Sofer)
