Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday called UN sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program a "mistake" and said Turkey and Brazil would continue to seek a diplomatic solution to the standoff.
Turkey and Brazil, who hold temporary seats on the Security Council, voted "no" against sanctions on Wednesday. They reached a deal with Tehran last month on a nuclear fuel swap that they hoped would avert sanctions. (Reuters)
