Report: Erdogan invites Nasrallah to Turkey
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent an official invitation to visit Turkey to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, the Kuwaiti Al-Seyassah reported.
The report says Erdogan was responding to pressure placed on him by Hamas's politburo chief, Khaled Mashaal. It adds that the Turkish prime minister wants Iran's Revolutionary Guards to secure Nasrallah's visit, due to fears of an Israeli assassination. The newspaper is known as anti-Hezbollah, and the report has received no official confirmation. (Roee Nahmias)
