EU envoy: Flotilla highlights issues clouding Israel-EU ties

European Union envoy to Israel Andrew Stanley said during a Tel Aviv conference that the flotilla events highlight two issues that cloud Israel-EU relations: Violations of international law and excessive use of force.
These two issues, together with Israel's image as an occupying state and the lack of progress in talks, prevent the fulfillment of the huge potential in Israel-EU relations, he said. The conference was organized by the "Geneva Initiative." (Ynet)
