France's Minister of Culture Frédéric Mitterrand protested the decision of a French cinema chain to stop screening the Israeli film Five Hours from Paris, directed by Leonid Prudovsky.
"I want to express my surprise and opposition to this decision," the minister wrote to the managers of the chain. Many French newspapers denounced the decision to boycott Israeli producers following the lethal IDF raid on the flotilla to Gaza. (AFP)
