Pentagon official: US involvement in Israeli security won't change

US Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Michele Flournoy says the United States has been involved in Israel's security for many years and has no plans to change this.
Flournoy, who spoke during a press conference in Washington, also addressed the deadly Navy raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla. She said that the loss of life was tragic, but that it stressed the importance of dealing with the current situation in Gaza and the need to bring in humanitarian aid without contesting Israel's security.
