Egypt border guards fatally shoot African migrant
Egyptian security and health officials say border guards have fatally shot an African migrant and arrested another as the two tried to cross illegally into Israel.
The officials say the guards first fired warning shots in an attempt to stop the two, but they continued running toward the barbed wire fence south of the Egyptian border town of Rafah. They say the arrested migrant is from Chad. The nationality of the dead man hasn't been established. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. (AP)
