IDF: Unprofessional action caused failed rescue attempt

The IDF ruled that an unprofessional action perpetrated by the Unit 669 rescue team led to the death of Alaa Agabriya, who fell off a stretcher raised by an IDF helicopter more than a year ago.
Senior Israel Air Force officers met with members of the Agabriya family to hand them the final military report and its main recommendations, which revolve around improving training and exercise processes and improving command and control processes. The family was also informed that moves have been made against those involved in the rescue operation. (Ynet)
