"Anti-Semitism is not a thing of the past," Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar said Saturday following international protest against Israel in the wake of the flotilla raid.
"Anti-Semitism today is still a powerful, destructive force. A new form of anti-Semitism has emerged…which focuses on the de-legitimization of the Jewish state and the refusal to acknowledge the Jewish people's right for a sovereign state and self defense," Sa'ar said during an international conference on Holocaust education.
