Iran: US, Israel want to cause rift between Tehran, Riyadh

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said there is "no doubt" that the US and the "Zionist regime" are enemies of Iran and Saudi Arabia, and that if they get a chance they'll cause damage to all the states in the region.
During a meeting with the Saudi kingdom's new ambassador to Tehran, Ahmadinejad said that Israel and the US want to cause a divide between Saudi Arabia and Iran, adding that "if Iran and Saudia were united on regional issues, enemies would not dare to conquer and occupy Muslim lands." On Saturday London's Times reported that Riyadh had given permission for Israeli aircraft to fly through its airspace to attack Iran. Riyadh denied the report. (Dudi Cohen)
