IDF chief: Flotilla conflict part of de-legitimization campaign against Israel

IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Gabi Ashkenazi said Sunday, "We are still in the midst of probing procedures and the drawing of conclusions from the flotilla events, however I can categorically say that the combatants acted appropriately given the danger they were in."
Ashkenazi added, "The conflict between them and the terrorists that were on the ship is part of a de-legitimization campaign against Israel." (Hanan Greenberg)
