White House welcomes Israeli inquiry commission

The White House issued a statement Sunday in which it said Israel took an important step forward in proposing a panel to investigate the Gaza flotilla incident.
It was further stated that Israel was capable of conducting an "impartial and credible" investigation of the flotilla events. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
