PM's Office: No efforts spared to bring Gilad Shalit home

The Prime Minister's Office issued a press release following the announcement by the Shalit family, that they would be marching on Jerusalem, demanding the release of their son, Gilad.
"The prime minister has instructed the defense establishment to spare no effort in retrieving Gilad… in December 2009, Israel accepted a German-Egyptian-brokered offer on the matter, but Hamas has yet to reply. The effort to bring Gilad home are ongoing," said the release. (Roni Sofer)
