Earthquake measured at 5.7 shakes Southern Calif.

An earthquake has rocked Southern California, shaking the Los Angeles area and forcing a halt to the Toronto Blue Jays-San Diego Padres baseball game in San Diego.

The US Geological Survey says the magnitude-5.7 quake was centered five miles (eight kilometers) southeast of Ocotillo near the US-Mexico border. It struck Monday at about 9:30 PDT (0430 GMT). (AP)
