Matriculation eligibility rates climb

Data released by the Education Ministry indicate an increase in matriculation eligibility rates in the past year. The Jewish sector has seen a 1.7% rise to 52.5%, and the non-Jewish sector has noted a 2.8% increase to 35%.
Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar welcomed the good news and said, "The explanation for the positive change is that we had a strike-free year. An uninterrupted learning process has an effect." (Yaheli Moran Zelikovich)
