Education Ministry official: Only High Court can rule on school discrimination

Director General of the Education Ministry Dr. Shimshon Shoshani said during a conference at the University of Haifa that he tried to stop the discrimination at the Beit Yaakov school in Emmanuel, but to no avail.
"I invested many hours of conversations with parents, but the minute that I understood that there is a group of parents saying that only the rabbis will decide whom their children study with, I threw in the towel. In such a situation, only the court can decide," said Dr. Shoshani. (Yahel Moran Zelikovich)
