Turkish, Romanian planes nearly collide at Ben-Gurion Airport

A collision between two planes was averted at Ben-Gurion Airport on Wednesday night thanks to the control tower's alertness. The incident took place as a Turkish place tried to take off, while a Romanian place was about to land on the same runway.

The Israel Airports Authority reported the incident to the Transportation Ministry's chief aerial accidents investigator, Attorney Yitzhak Raz, who launched an investigation. (Yoav Zitun)
