UN chief: Security in Afghanistan has not improved

The United Nations chief says security in Afghanistan has not improved and that roadside bombings soared 94% in the first four months of this year compared with the same period in 2009.

The findings come in a quarterly report by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to the UN Security Council. The UN mission in Kabul released the report Saturday. (AP)
