Knesset subcommittee wants more extensive use of 'Iron Dome'

The subcommittee for the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, headed by MK Avi Dichter (Kadima) is currently meeting with mayors of the Gaza vicinity communities in Sderot.
A statement published before the meeting said, "The choice of the Iron Dome defense system was correct and logical, but the planned extent of its use is unacceptable." The subcommittee called on the defense establishment to widen the extent of its use. (Shmulik Hadad)
