EU to transfer 400,000 euro for Palestinians' surgery in Israel

The EU will issue a grant of 400,000 euro to the project Save a Child's Heart at Edith Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, through which Palestinian children, along with children from 39 developing countries who suffer from heart defects will be operated on in the Israeli hospital.
Minister for Regional Development Silvan Shalom announced that an NIS 1 million (about $260,000) will be made from his office to the program, enough money to perform an additional 250 surgeries a year. (Meital Yasur Beit-Or)
