Israel releases Hamas minister, brother of Fatah's Jibril Rajoub

Israel has released Palestinian Minister for Religious Affairs in the Hamas government, Sheikh Nayef Rajoub, brother of senior Fatah member Jibril Rajoub. Rajoub was detained by Israel following the abduction of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit and was sentenced to 50 months behind bars.
Upon his release, Rajoub called on the Palestinians to unite and overcome internal divisions and rifts. (Ali Waked)
