Ex-Health Ministry director to receive Quality of Government medal

Former Health Ministry Director-General Dr. Eitan Hai-Am will receive the Quality of Government medal in the "struggle for incorruptibility" category.

Hai-Am will receive the award for his battle over the construction of an emergency room at the Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon despite an ultra-Orthodox protest due to the location of ancient graves in the area. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
