Brazil still hopeful on Iran fuel deal

Brazil's foreign minister said on Monday he still hoped a plan for Iran to part with some of its nuclear material could serve as the basis for further talks with Tehran about its nuclear programme, despite new sanctions.

"We are still hopeful that the Tehran declaration can be used as a basis for... a peaceful negotiated solution," Celso Amorim said at a panel discussion in Vienna. (Reuters)
