Netanyahu tells Livni understands importance of peace process

None

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni at the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that he shares her opinion on the importance of the peace process.

"There is no process, not because we didn't restart it, but because the Palestinian Authority did not want to enter it," he said. Ahead of his upcoming meeting with US President Barack Obama, the prime minister said that "Israel must enter immediate negotiations with the Palestinians." (Amnon Meranda)
