Bill: Equalize rights of hate crimes victims with those of terrorism victims

MK Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) submitted a bill together with other MKs which proposes to equalize the extent of support and aid provided for hate crime victims to those given to terrorism victims.
According to the bill, victims of crimes committed based on ethnic affiliation, religion or sexual orientation will receive financial aid from the National Insurance Institute. The bill was proposed following the shooting incident in the gay youth center in Tel Aviv last year. (Amnon Meranda)
