Syrian vice president in Tehran to debate 'resistance to Zionism'

Syrian Vice President Farouk al-Sharaa is on an official visit to Tehran and is expected to pass on a message from President Bashar Assad to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to Iranian news agency IRNA.
Al-Sharaa is expected to meet senior leaders to discuss the relationship between the two states, and to coordinate a common position regarding "Islamic resistance to the Zionists." (Dudi Cohen)
