Livni: Agreement not gift to Arabs; out of own interest
None
Opposition leader Tzipi Livni slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said "policies require tough decisions, and those will not be made without understanding that an agreement is not a gift for the Arabs, but rather is in our own interest."
During a speech at the Jewish Agency conference in Jerusalem, Livni added that "Israel must make decisions willingly and based on its interests, not out of pressure. Voluntary decisions show strength, while decisions made out of pressure show weakness." (Attila Somfalvi)
