Deportation of 3,000 foreign construction workers postponed

The Jerusalem court for administrative affairs issued an injunction forbidding the State from carrying out a planned deportation of some 3,000 foreign workers in the construction industry.
The injunction will be in force until the date of deportation, July 1, but stipulated that another hearing on the matter take place on the same day. The order forbids the State from carrying out the deportation on the planned date. (Tani Goldstein)
