87 senators to Obama: Israel has right to defend itself

Eighty-seven senators have presented US President Barack Obama with a petition, in which they expressed their support for Israel's right to defend itself against the threats of Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran.

The senator noted that the Jewish state had every right to defend itself against thousands of rockets fired by Hamas, and asked the president to include the IHH movement which organized the Gaza flotilla on the list of terror organizations. (AFP)
