Despite signs, European Commission won't condemn flotilla raid
The European Commission met to discuss the IDF flotilla raid and, despite pressure by Turkey, did not condemn it. The commission did, however, call for an international investigation of the incident.
The head of Israel's delegation to the commission, Yohanan Plesner (Kadima) said the result had been the result of "efforts that lasted for many days and finally bore fruit". (Roni Sofer)
