Emmanuel affair: Independent Education Center fined some NIS 200,000

The High Court of Justice published the sum of the fine the Independent Education Center must pay for failing to adhere to the ruling on the Emmanuel religious school affair. According to the judges' ruling, the center must pay NIS 5,000 (roughly $1,300) per day for the period from April 18 to April 29, and from May 17 to May 24.
In addition, the center was fined NIS 10,000 (roughly $2,600) per day for another 22 days, from May 25 to June 15. According to the court, the fine does not include Saturdays, holidays or days in which the school was closed according to Education Ministry orders. (Aviad Glickman)
