Emmanuel affair: Court asked to free parents ahead of Shabbat

The "Noar Kahalacha" association and parents of children studying at the Beit Yaakov school in Emmanuel have asked the High Court of Justice to release the fathers jailed at the Maasiyahu Prison and delay their punishment by two months.
The State Prosecutor's Office expressed its objection to the request, saying that the arrest warrants would only be cancelled if the parents obeyed the High Court ruling. (Elad Tene and Aviad Glickman)
