Sarkozy: Treatment of Shalit inhumane

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in a letter to Gilad Shalit's parents that he is "shocked by the inhumane treatment" of their son by his Hamas captors in Gaza.
"No circumstances, not even those that the residents of Gaza are subject to, justify this kind of behavior toward a human being and his family," Sarkozy wrote in a letter that was relayed to Noam and Aviva Shalit through the Israeli embassy in Paris. (Ynet)
