Police say a letter bomb that killed a close aide to Greece's minister in charge of law enforcement had originally been sent to the minister's political office by regular mail.
Police said in a statement Friday the letter was later taken to the heavily guarded ministry building in central Athens. The device exploded when Giorgos Vassilakis opened the envelope, killing him and causing extensive damage to the ministry's seventh floor. (AP)
