PM's office: Mossad chief didn’t ask to extend his tenure

The Prime Minister's Office denied reports suggesting that Mossad Chief Meir Dagan applied for an extension of his term in office by one year.

 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu communications advisor Nir Hefetz, denied reports suggesting Dagan's request was denied, saying that the prime minister "decided to extend Dagan's tenure by one year – last year. No new decision has been made since." (Roni Sofer)
