Noam Shalit, father of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, spoke at the end of the first day of the march to Jerusalem for the release of his son.
He said at the rally at Nahariya Mall, "This was a pleasant surprise. The public came out en masse, and we praise this. This gives us strength. I call upon whoever can continue marching with us to join us until Jerusalem. From there, we hope to return with God's help when Gilad is with us." (Hagai Einav)
