Hamas politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal said during the first convention of Palestinian students in Damascus, "Gilad Shalit will not be lonely, and we will continue to capture the enemy's soldiers and officer until our prisoners are released."
Mashaal added that the Israeli public is protesting against its "poor leadership, which jeopardizes the prisoner exchange deal. We will not release Shalit until Netanyahu surrenders to our just demands." (Roi Kais)
