Lieberman: No chance for Palestinian state in next 2 years

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in a press conference, "As an optimistic person, I do not see any chance of establishing a Palestinian state by 2012. We can imagine, but I don't see the likelihood."

Lieberman's Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov added, "Unilateral actions on both sides should be avoided, in order to prevent an escalation until the final status of Jerusalem is decided." (Roni Sofer)
