Russian FM: We won't sell advanced weapons systems to Iran, Syria
President Shimon Peres met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in the President's Residence in Jerusalem and reminded him that Russian committed in 1998 not to sell arms to countries in the region that would alter the balance of power.
Lavrov emphasized that Moscow would not do so, saying that Russia is committed to all international charters and agreements and will not sell advanced weapons systems of Iran or to Syria. (Roni Sofer)
